Had really good General Chicken and great service! Very fresh tasting; worth the longer wait.

I planned on ordering from this restaurant after reviews I read but upon calling and getting put on hold three times to see if they had a driver I went to place my lunch order and was told a $15 minimum Order had to be placed for them to deliver to me and since I am here without a vehicle every week, it looks like this place and my mouth shall never meet.

Great place, amazing food. They have a huge selection of choices to choose from and everything we tried was very fresh and delicious! The wait was a little long, however the staff was friendly and personable. We will be going back, probably more than we should!

In Grand Junction on business. Had food delivered twice. Best Chinese food ever. Had Shrimp Lo-Main and Sweet & Sour Chicken both were excellent. Delivery person was polite and friendly. Food was delivered hot and fresh. Price is right as well. Would highly recommend take out if your to tired to eat out

Would like to give better review, the food is good ad the service is terrible. I just ordered takeout, they gave me chicken instead of shrimp, charged me for lo mien and I did not get it. After I got home, I called and the woman said she would credit me for the lo mien but not the shrimp. Check your stuff!!!

The food is tasty, however the speed at which they take your order, and bring the food and drinks out is very slow. If you do not have anywhere to be, this place is great. If you need to eat lunch and get back to the office at lunch, you will be late. The servers are really nice and friendly, But they need to speed up the delivery. The flavor of the food saved this rating from a 2 Star.

I love this restaurant! Best Chinese food in town. The orange chicken is perfectly crisp, and egg drop soup is great. I have a lovely experience here every time I come in. The staff are pleasant and they always remember my name. I recommend EC's to people all the time.

Yum! We ordered delivery at work. It was a large order and it all got there fresh and on time. Great delivery service.

I was craving Chinese food and decided it was time to try eC's. Good choice. I followed Joan S's recommendation and ordered the beef tenderloin with baby bok choi. Almost didn't because it was so pricey. But she made it sound so good. And it was. The beef was unbelievably tender. The sauce was slightly sweet, but also very savory. There was plenty of garlic and ginger in there, along with more veggies. The baby bok choi on the bottom was quartered and the very slight bitterness (normal to bok choi) was a perfect counterpoint to the sauce. Perfect dish. I had seen a picture of their egg foo young posted on Yelp. It was such a bizarre photo - showing a stir fry of chicken and veggies rather than the egg patties (with the comment that yes - there was egg foo young under it). So, being an egg foo young lover (hey, I'm "mid century modern" myself!), I ordered it. It did not disappoint. Super flavorful stir fry on top with very tender chicken. The egg patties underneath (2 of them) - were perfectly cooked. I loved this dish almost as much as the beef tenderloin. Of course, I am never one to under order - so I got the garlic noodles with veggies. This was a very, very, very garlicky dish - as they said on the menu. The noodles were more like linguine (which is just fine with me - the menu said flat noodles). The veggies were nicely cooked and if this had been my only dish, I would have eaten it all. But, as good as these noodles were for this garlic lover, it wasn't up to the other two dishes. Still, I would order it again, especially if I was in a big carb mood. I will agree that it took a while to get the food. We did go at lunch and this was from the dinner menu. So I know we threw a wrench into the kitchen process. So, I am not complaining, but I was glad to be prepared for the wait based on other review. Ambiance was diner-esque, but with lots of pictures on the wall. Maybe not a "date night" place - though I was perfectly happy with it. All in all, until I find something better, this will be my Chinese go to for eating out. I am still a Chop Stix girl for quick take out.

What a great place to eat Asian food. Susan was so helpful in our deciding what to eat. Yummy. I had Kung pao trio and hot and sour soup oh so good. Husband had spring rolls and mushroom, chicken and garlic fusion also very good. So if your in the area please stop here to eat.

I came here for the first time last night for dinner. Nice atmosphere, music in the background...excellent waitress...I had the hot & sour chicken soup...fantastic...and had the kung pow chicken... excellent as well...!!! So I'm a creature of habit...dinner was so good last night, why not try something else from their menu tonight...so I did... I liked the hot & sour chicken soup, so I had it again tonight...excellent...I hated to reach the bottom of the bowl...! As a different entre tonight I ordered the chicken egg foo young...wow, quite good. Different preparation then experienced elsewhere. Not just a brown gravy over the pancakes...nope, this gravy was loaded with veggies. There is something unique about this restaurant anf the food being presented...I am not really sure what a "fusion" restaurant actually means...but this food seems to be prepared as its ordered and not pre-made and waiting. It is fresh, delivered to the table steaming hot, and is quite tasty. I dont give out many 5-stars...it most certainly must stand out above average...Give this establishment a try, I am certain you will not be disappointed...!!!

Delicious food but ridiculously long wait times whether you take out, get delivery, or dine in. A part of me feels bad about giving a 1 star review, but damn! 1 hour to 1 hour and a half for a take out order on week night is horrible. I must say that I really like their food and feel they have an excellent selection of better than average dishes. But the wait is ridiculous! Having been there to dine in and take out, I get the impression that the long wait time is due to some kind of bottleneck in the kitchen. I can't help but think the owners are losing a lot of business because of this. The bottom line is I'm not using EC's again due to the fact it takes too long to get my food. Never mind the fact they give overly optimistic estimates for delivery and take out wait times. I'm a local and like supporting good restaurants but the kitchen is so slow I'm done. I've had food from there about six times so this review was not based on an anecdotal experience. The inexplicably long waits for food are a common theme. I have come in to pick up take-out orders, and after hearing the chatter in the kitchen they appear to only start my order once I arrive (you will know what I'm talking about if you've ever picked up an order there). If they get their kitchen in order and can get food out in less than an hour on a weeknight, I would certainly be willing to try them again, but for now they're on my "do not order takeout" list.

Spring Rolls were excellent. I always enjoy Jasmine Tea. The ComboFriedRice and Mongolian Beef were above average but so was the bill. Very friendly service.

Yum! Kid friendly, done in, takeout, delivery. I ordered Moo Goo Gai Pan. Delicious, plenty of chicken, greet variety of veggies, hints of ginger. Very friendly! They serve complementary 'chips and salsa' which is sweet and sour sauce with fried wontons. Fast service. My toddler ate a full dinner. Got pretty busy on Sat. evening. Only one table for 8. Mostly seating for parties of four.

The owner is the most precious woman I've ever seen. She always remembers us and she's extremely personable. Plus the food is just fantastic. Most definitely the best Asian restaurant I've been to in GJ, with competitive prices, as well.

Very sad. Have enjoyed this restaurant several times but sadly the quality & service has gone down drastically. We placed an order for delivery. We were told when we ordered it could take an hour. I told them they were worth the wait. After 1.5 hours and no food, I phoned again. They assured me it was "coming next". At the 2.25 hour mark I placed a 3rd call. In the end it took three hours to receive our food. We live within 10 minutes. What was unfortunate is the managers response when I called for the 3rd time wondering where my food was she did not once apologize for the delay. She offered me a 3.50$ discount and said it is on the way. She could have handled it so much better. When the food did arrive it was amazing. However the poor customer service just is not worth it. We won't be back and judging from some of the reviews that Yelp Hides... several our saying the same. Please be sure and read the so called Hidden Reviews.

We love this restaurant! You have to order the beef tenderloin and bok choy. It is one of the most amazing meals you'll ever eat. Staff are very nice and welcoming...fodd is delish. You'll love it!

I live in Grand Junction just up the road from this place. It's incredible. Normally, Chinese restaurants use excessive coatings and sauces to cover up the bad meat they choose. For instance, beef/broccoli meals or Mongolian beef is always overcooked and tough. I would highly recommend trying the beef dishes here. You'll be very surprised. Same with the stuff like orange chicken, which I normally think is gross, but this restaurant is hands-down the best. So happy this restaurant is here in Grand Junction.

I was in town for business and offered delivery from this restaurant. Hands down, this was the best Chinese food I have ever eaten. The egg drop soup had incredible flavors and a texture like nothing I have had before. The egg rolls were amazing. The delivery time was long but totally worth it. The courtesy call from the restaurant when they were running late was also a nice touch.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
